From the Halls of Montezuma to the shores of Tripoli, join us as we run the Marine Corps colors through the streets of Boston. Beginning at 0500 on 04 November 2012 the BU/MIT Semper Fidelis Society will be hosting a relay run to commemorate the 237th Birthday of the United States Marine Corps. The Marine Corps flags will cover a total of 237 miles over the continuous 12 hour relay. Each mile will represent one year of Marine Corps history and the men and women who have come before us. Routes will be traced along the Charles River Esplanade. Unlike other events this is not a race but rather a remembrance of the history of our illustrious Corps.
Come join us in the second year of this event and honor 1st Lt Robert Kelly, USMC. 1st Lt Kelly was killed on Nov. 9, 2010 while leading his Marines in Afghanistan. Money raised will go to a scholarship fund in his name
